Everest Wins the Tidy Otter Award for Sustainability at WaterJAM 2026
We’re proud to share some exciting news from WaterJAM 2026: Everest has been awarded the Tidy Otter Award for Sustainability, presented by the Sustainable Utilities and WaterJAM Committees!
The Tidy Otter Award recognizes exhibitors who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to green initiatives and sustainable practices within the WaterJAM exhibit hall. Each year, the Sustainable Utilities Committee and WaterJAM Committee encourage exhibitors to think more intentionally about their environmental impact, lead by example, and find meaningful ways to incorporate sustainability into their conference presence.
Supporting a More Sustainable Water Industry
The award reflects a larger commitment within the Virginia water community to protect public health, the environment, and our natural resources.
The Virginia Water Environment Association’s Sustainable Utilities Committee works alongside members of VWEA and VA AWWA to support the development of sustainable practices through education, advocacy, networking, collaboration, and industry programs. By bringing together utility directors, engineers, operators, groundwater specialists, students, educators, and other industry professionals, the committee aims to make sustainability a deeper part of both professional practices and everyday decision-making.
